FP Parties and Scarves

We've got party supplies!! Toad and I picked up the paper goods and some extra favors for the party. Now we're working on menu planning. In Knitting news: I'm getting geared up for the 60 Scarves in 60 Days. I found some red merino/acrylic mix put out by Caron yesterday at Pat Catans and decided to give it a try. Its super soft! I also made a trek to Wal-Mart and bought some delft blue and white to make scarves for the Special Olympics. They are hoping to collect 5,000 scarves this year...so if anyone reading this hasn't already heard about it....visit redheart.com or the ravelry group set up for the 2009 Special Olympics and consider making a scarf or two. The yarn was only around $4 and should make two scarves. Let's all join in to help them meet their goal!!!

Fisher Price House Party

Toad and I were selected to host the Fisher Price House Party!!! We can't wait for all of the toys to arrive. It'll be great for her to get a chance to play with some other kids too. I've been a member of House Party for awhile, but never applied to host before and now I'm addicted to it. I hope I get selected for more parties! Everyone should check the site out

Secret of the Stole

I actually finished Clue 1 before Clue 2 came out! I am so proud of myself. I used size 2s because I thought my swatch with 3s looked too sloppy, but now I think that the 2s might not look lacy enough. However, at the moment I am not inclined to rip it out and start over just to discover that I liked it better the first time! We'll see after the next clue if I still feel the same and then I will decide.
